Lighting, Heating and Humidity for the Water Monitor
Lighting
Lighting an enclosure this size is easy with a 4' florescent fixture. A schedule of 12 hours on and 12 hours off is recommended.
Heating
The daytime temperatures should be around 83 to 87 degrees with a basking spot provided around 95 degrees. Nighttime temperatures should go no lower than 76 degrees.
Humidity
Water Monitors requires high humidity levels (around 75% to 85%) which a large water pool will help provide. You can also mist the cage daily to help raise the humidity.
