Feeding Vieled Chameleon
Veiled Chameleons are primarily insectivorous, but may take some plant matter in their diet. Crickets are the main staple of their diet. But crickets do not contain enough calcium and require a supplement to ensure your chameleon gets the levels that it needs to thrive. You can do this two ways; "gut-load" your crickets a high calcium diet before feeding them to your chameleon, or by "dusting" your cricket before feeding with a calcium supplement. This should be done twice a week for baby and juveniles, and weekly for adults. Females of breeding age should have their food items dusted twice a week as well.
